Job: Utilization Review Therapist/Float Therapist

This is a full-time position under the direct supervision of the Adult Specialized Services Program Manager. The Utilization Review Therapist/Float Therapist functions as part of the trans-disciplinary team primarily serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness not reached by traditional services by working to obtain prior authorizations to allow clients access to services while supplementing this work with direct services to various agency clients by providing diagnostic assessments, individual psychotherapy, and group interventions. This candidate will obtain prior authorizations needed for additional CPST units, as well as completing the prior authorization forms and processes needed to get the additional units approved. The individual would be responsible for communicating with Buckeye/Cenpatico, Molina, and/ or Permedion, for attending trainings on completing prior authorizations, and for assuring that units are calculated correctly.

Require Bachelor’s LSW, Masters LSW/LPC or a Masters LPCC/LISW in a mental health related field with prior work experience. Adult experience is required. This position requires access to an operational vehicle, valid driver’s license and auto insurance that meets SCI standards. Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
