Position Description:

This is a full-time position under the supervision of the Program Manager of Caring for Kids. The principal responsibilities of this position are to provide screening and assessments for court-based services at the Juvenile Justice Center. Responsibilities include screening for behavioral health issues, diagnose and treat emotional and behavioral problems under the supervision specified by licensure. This person is responsible for the clinical record and collaboration with other providers to provide comprehensive and client-focused care. Secondary responsibilities include providing leadership and direction to Caring for Kids therapists in their daily operations, to liaise with and inform the Program Manager of tem operations and services provided and to represent the program to Juvenile Court and to out side agencies or entities. The Caring for Kids Team Leader will demonstrate time management skills, the ability to work independently and in a larger team, and will demonstrate support for the goals and objectives of the Program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Master’s Degree in mental health or related field with Ohio license to provide mental health services, independent license with supervisory endorsement preferred. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. AoD experience as well as youth experience preferred. Successful candidate must be able to pass background check and drug testing.
