One in three people will suffer from a mental health or chemical dependency-related problem at some point in their lifetime. South Community’s goal is to be there when that person seeks help. For over 30 years, South Community has been committed to providing a continuum of services to help ensure the emotional, mental and behavioral well being of residents in the greater Miami Valley. We provide affordable, high quality, outcome based behavioral healthcare. We use evidence-based practices in treatment approaches and work with our consumers to create personal strategies that promote growth, enrichment and recovery.

South Community is committed to forging alliances and collaborating with other community healthcare providers in an effort to integrate services within the professional community. Our dynamic organizational structure and broad range of capabilities allow us to respond quickly and effectively to the ever changing needs of a diverse and complex society. Our growth as an organization has been gradual and steady and we continue to find ways to improve our efficiency and effectiveness as a healthcare provider.

Our mission is achieved through the efforts of a skilled interdisciplinary group of behavioral health professionals. They work in partnership with referring physicians, employers and community organizations to provide effective, integrated behavioral healthcare. Our school-based mental health programs have expanded to include many area schools. Our professionals also enlist their consumers as partners, empowering them to draw upon their own resources in order to improve their health status. As our clinical staff focus increasingly on “best practices” in behavioral healthcare, the treatment outcomes for our consumers will continue to improve.

We invite you to familiarize yourself with our full range of programs and services. Whether you are an individual or family in crisis, a physician seeking help for patients who are experiencing difficulty, a mental health counselor seeking specialized services for a consumer, or a company looking for a direct link to behavioral health services, South Community stands ready to help. You can count on our commitment to quality healthcare and exceptional customer service.
