Position Description:

Equip staff with knowledge to carry out work-related tasks and help them to fulfill requirements of the agency with on-going, long-term improvement of employees’ skills. Identify training/development needs within the organization through collaboration with managers and supervisors though the processes of peer-reviews and clinical records training. Help design and coordinate training and development programs based on the needs of the organization through a variety of teaching methods, i.e., PowerPoint, e-learning courses as well as the production of training materials for in-house courses. Administer and ensure maximum use of My Learning Point software for agency staff. Work with Staff Development Chair to produce programs that are satisfactory to all relevant parties relative to the organization, such as direct service and administrative personnel and agency staff. Support training needs for new employees and on-going learning plans based on job functions. Will report to the Chief of Quality Improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3-5 years relevant experience. Must have good follow-through skills, as well as great communication and training skills. Successful candidate must be able to pass background check and drug testing.
