| Position Description: | The person in this position will conduct and monitor vitals on clients involved in the Juvenile Justice System. Other responsibilities include administering injections prescribed by physician/APRN, responding to calls regarding medication or medical issues, responding to JJC staff as needed for client, providing nursing assessment and health history assessments as needed, conducting medical education groups and completing all required documentation in a timely manner. This person will also monitor and support management of medication flow in and out of psychiatric services at JJC, perform triage duties as needed and complete metabolic syndrome and abnormal involuntary movement scale as requested by physician/APRN. |
| Minimum Qualifications: | Requires active RN license in Ohio. Experience with youth and AoD issues a must. Must be able to pass background check and drug test. |
