| Position Description: | Exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized program to provide case management and substance abuse intervention to youth and families with multiple needs, with an emphasis on serving youth in the African American community who are enrolled in the Montgomery County Juvenile Drug Court. Activities include assisting and supporting families in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational and other services essential to meeting basic human needs. The Case Manager will also monitor mental health and substance abuse symptoms, provide referrals to additional community supports as needed and follow up to assist the youth and family in reaching their therapeutic goals. |
| Minimum Qualifications: | The successful candidate should have excellent counseling, communication, relationship and teamwork skills; having the ability to work with diverse populations. Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field and Ohio licensure to provide mental health and alcohol and drug services required. Valid Ohio driver’s license required. Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle check and drug screen. Salary is commensurate on experience. |
