Team Leader - Adult Community Psychiatric Support
Provide community psychiatric support interventions to clients 18 years of age and older with multiple
service needs as thy meet their goals on their path to recovery. Provide mentoring and direction to CPST
staff under the direct supervision of the Adult CPST Program Manager. Represent the program and the agency
in the community and to outside agencies.
Bachelor’s degree in a mental health related field with experience. Must be licensed as an LSW or PC by
the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. Access to an operational
vehicle, full auto insurance coverage and a valid driver’s license is required. Please send your resume

Community Psychiatric Support Specialist
Serve the SMD adult population by closely monitoring the continued treatment, taking of prescribed medications
and assisting these individuals in the recovery process.
Requires Associates or Bachelors degree in human services field with prior work-related experience.
Licensed through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapy Board preferred.
Access to an operational vehicle with valid driver’s license and full auto coverage are required.

Youth Community Psychiatric Support Specialist
Provide coordination and ongoing assessment of needs of children and families by developing and monitoring overall
service delivery, including medication management. Provide intervention and collaborate with medical staff and
various community agencies to assist children and families in reaching mental health goals.
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in human service field; Ohio license preferred; experience providing services to
children and families preferred; access to an operational vehicle with full coverage insurance required; valid driver’s
license required with no more than 3 points.
ACT CPSS/LPN
Be a part of a multidisciplinary team providing community based treatment to adults with severe and persistent mental
illness not reached by traditional services. The general responsibility of the position is to provide case management
intervention and in addition to assist the RN in coordinating and providing medical related services.
Required an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field and State of Ohio license as an LPN, access
to an operational vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Nursing Opportunities
Tired of working 12 hours shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays? Do you like challenges and
long for an environment that supports professional and personal growth? South Community has nursing positions that could fit your needs.
Psychiatric nursing experience is preferred but not necessary. If you are a new graduate or a nurse looking to switch specialties, our
staff of psychiatrists, RNs and APRN would be happy to provide a supportive environment to get you acclimated. Must have a valid,

South Community is a Teaching Facility
South Community has a long-standing Educational Affiliation Agreement with Wright State
University's School of Professional Psychology. Four (4) Doctoral Students and two
(2) Doctoral Interns, under the on-site supervision of Dr. Scott Fraser, have developed a
Brief Therapy Project for creating episodes of care for consumers. This project
includes training our staff as well. Episodes of care, psychological testing and
Mindfulness groups all enhance clinical care for consumers by staff and students.
Our consumers benefit from these experiences and the Brief Therapy Project enhances the
continuum of services we are able to offer our consumers.
South Community, as a teaching facility, trains over twenty-five
(25) students per year from local universities and colleges including the University of
Dayton, Sinclair Community College, University of Cincinnati, Cedarville College, Capitol
University, Ohio University and Wright State University at all levels - mental
health technicians to medical doctors.
Student Partnerships
South Community offers opportunities for practiums and internships for students
in counseling, social work or related fields. We have worked in partnership with
